October 2013 |
Kawaii culture has had a constant place in my life since I was in first grade and owned every bit of Hello Kitty school supplies imaginable. In 2009 it became a bigger part of my life when I encountered Japanese fashion for the first time: fairy kei, decora and sweet lolita. Since my early teens I've dabbled in emo, goth, fairy kei, sweet lolita and styles in-between!
Aside from fashion and kawaii culture, art has been a huge part of my life. I've loved creating things for as long as I can remember! I trained in fine arts throughout high school and at 15 I started my training as a jeweler. In May 2013, I received my AAS in Jewelry Design and am now getting my BS in Direct and Interactive Marketing. It's a little harder to incorporate art into my life now that I'm a business student, but it's been fun trying new things to make and do!
